The training is open to anyone interested, and it is discounted for ISFA members.

Basic fabrication instruction includes Product Orientation, Safety, Tooling, Fabrication & Installation. More advanced instruction includes Manufacturer’s Fabrication/Installation Requirements. This training program is approved by all major solid surface manufacturers.

Who's eligible?

This class is for individuals new to solid surface fabrication with base-level experience in carpentry, millwork or other related fields. It's also well-suited for those who wish to refresh their skills.

Not a fabricator? No problem! Take advantage of the non-certified observer option to watch and learn. This is a great option for office staff or project managers who could benefit from context around the fabrication process.

Program

Training includes 2-day hands-on instruction.

Sessions include product knowledge, handling, inspection, safety, tooling, shop layout, templating, material layout, cutting, seaming, edge treatments, sink and bowl mounting, cutouts, backsplashes, thermoforming, finishing, repair, installation, overhangs and more.

Whether it’s the window cling on your truck, certificate framed in your office or our logo proudly displayed on your website, customers will know you’re a professional ISFA Certified Fabricator!
